Day 1: Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then we will embark on a visit to Nairobi's elephant orphanage and giraffe center. We will take in a leisurely lunch in Karen and then continue on to a visit to Kazuri Beads, a bead factory that employs local women. Finally, we will return to the hotel for a nice dinner and enjoy a good night's sleep.

Day 2-4: Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi we will catch a short morning flight to Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a morning game drive and then head to our hotel situated within the reserve to check in, have lunch, and enjoy the hotel grounds. In the afternoon we will embark on our evening game drive to see the wildlife species that are unique to this northern park. Then we will return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

The following day, we will begin two full days in Samburu to explore further and enjoy morning and afternoon game drives each day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at our hotel. Then another overnight.

Day 5-6: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast in Samburu, we will drive four hours to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving for lunch and check in to our luxury tented camp.
In the afternoon, we will embark on an evening game drive in search of wildlife, returning to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

The following day, we will have the full day to explore the Conservancy, visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary, the orphaned rhino, and the nature center. In between, we will take in a morning and afternoon game drive. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be at our luxury tented camp. Then another overnight.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast at our hotel in Ol Pejeta, we will drive four hours to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving for lunch and check in to the lodge. We will enjoy an afternoon game drive around the lake, where we will see the white rhinos and pink flamingos that this park is known for, among other wildlife. We will return to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8-11: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at our lodge in Nakuru, we will drive six hours to the Masai Mara National Reserve, where we will have three full days to explore Kenya's most famous wildlife reserve known for its vast open plains and its famous lions. We will stop for lunch on the drive to the Masai Mara, arriving there in time to enjoy an afternoon game drive on the way to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Days 9 through 11 we will have three full days to explore the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, elephants, and many other wildlife species are commonly spotted here. We will return to our hotel for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If there is group consensus, we have the choice to take a boxed picnic lunch on our game drives and stay out longer in search of wildlife midday.

Day 12: return to Nairobi & Fly Home

After breakfast at our hotel, we will catch a short flight back to Nairobi, where we will have some time to explore on our last tour day. We will enjoy a farewell dinner at Carnivore Restaurant, before heading to the airport for your return flight home.
