A never-ending love for Africa is what drives Dylan to want to make African adventures accessible to all. Having spent most of her formative years growing up in Mali, Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya, Dylan was imprinted at an early age with the magic of Africa - its indelible lore, legends, sights, sounds, and smells. However, of all the regions East Africa, and particularly Kenya, left its biggest mark.
After high school, Dylan immersed herself in wildlife and nature conservation in Kenya, volunteering at Nairobi’s elephant orphanage, educating the daily visitors. She also joined conservation groups, becoming well-versed in hot topic issues surrounding the preservation and protection of East Africa’s wildlife and environment.
Dylan’s love of Africa led her to later complete a B.A. in Africana Studies at the University of South Florida. Over the years, she has spent countless hours on safari, searching for wildlife and exploring East Africa’s natural world.
Some of her favorite life experiences include camping in lion country in Kenya’s famous game reserves, hiking to see wild mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, and climbing Mount Toubkal twice in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains.
