MEET OUR TEAM

Meet Dylan

A never-ending love for Africa is what drives Dylan to want to make African adventures accessible to all. Having spent most of her formative years growing up in Mali, Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya, Dylan was imprinted at an early age with the magic of Africa - its indelible lore, legends, sights, sounds, and smells. However, of all the regions East Africa, and particularly Kenya, left its biggest mark.

After high school, Dylan immersed herself in wildlife and nature conservation in Kenya, volunteering at Nairobi’s elephant orphanage, educating the daily visitors. She also joined conservation groups, becoming well-versed in hot topic issues surrounding the preservation and protection of East Africa’s wildlife and environment.

Dylan’s love of Africa led her to later complete a B.A. in Africana Studies at the University of South Florida. Over the years, she has spent countless hours on safari, searching for wildlife and exploring East Africa’s natural world.

Some of her favorite life experiences include camping in lion country in Kenya’s famous game reserves, hiking to see wild mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, and climbing Mount Toubkal twice in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains.

Meet Chege

With an unbeatable eye for detail and an appreciation for all that nature has to offer, Chege is passionate about sharing East Africa’s wildlife and natural history with clients. He loves showing visitors everything, from the smallest insects to the largest African mammals which Africa is famous for. His enthusiasm and smile are infectious, and his love for what he does is evident to anyone lucky enough to have him as their guide.

As a native of Kenya, Chege’s extensive professional experience includes guiding at the National Museum of Kenya, working as a field ornithologist and lecturer for Nature Kenya, and taking hundreds of clients on safaris all over East Africa.

Although he is a wildlife and natural history expert, Chege’s main passion lies with the fascinating world of birds. His bird list in Kenya alone has surpassed 975 species, and he enjoys searching for those rare ‘lifers’ to add to his growing list. Chege is also an avid wildlife photographer and conservation educator.

He can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Alex

During every wildlife and nature tour, Alex will demonstrate his decades of knowledge and experience with East Africa’s natural world. However, Alex is passionate about also connecting visitors to the authentic culture and people who are at the heart of the region. He believes that in order for visitors to fully experience East Africa, they must get to know the incredible, diverse people who call this region home.

Alex has worked as a guide at the National Museum in Kenya, held a membership with Nature Kenya, been actively involved with conservation organizations, and also guided for other safari companies.

He was born in Kenya, but after working for years in wildlife conservation and tourism, Alex left to pursue higher education in the United States, eventually completing an M.A. in Political Science. However, his true heart still lies in guiding clients and showing them all the treasures of East Africa.
