  • The game drive starts at either 7:00 pm or 9:00 pm and lasts for two hours. Guests are picked up at their camp or lodge.

  • There is a limit of six people. This experience requires a minimum of two people for departure. To depart with only a single traveler, a cost of two persons will be charged.

  • A nighttime game drive offers a completely different perspective of the African wilderness. Many animals that are rarely active or visible during the day come out after dark. You might witness predators like lions and leopards becoming more active as they begin their nighttime hunts—this is when they are most likely to stalk prey. You may also spot hyenas scavenging or patrolling in groups.

    Smaller nocturnal creatures are also a highlight. Guests often see bush babies leaping between trees with their large, glowing eyes, as well as civets, genets, and porcupines foraging in the underbrush. With a trained guide and spotlight, you might catch a glimpse of an African wildcat or the elusive aardvark, both extremely shy and rarely seen in daylight.

  • The walk is not designed to be strenuous however a reasonable level of fitness is required, as you can expect to be walking for around three hours. The activity is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
